I contacted the FTC and filed an ID theft report and also unfair practices. The site is easy to use. I would also contact any of the three credit report companies and file an ID theft and what ever else you can file.
You mentioned that you didn't pay it and you owe. I paid my debt years ago and look- someone else is trying to collect it again. These companies go bankrupt or get shut down.
I advise not to pay it and get them to send you were you signed/ I think they call it a debt validation.

I recently had an account posted on my credit report by this company. I have send the credit report information to an attorney to have it checked out. I know that I do not have an account with the company stated.
