I received a call from a company saying they had been hired by a major US Company to secure vacation weeks for their employees in Mexico. As this US company has stores in Mexico and there are a number of resorts owned by the company that I bought my timeshare from, it didn't seem too far fetched. I did a little due diligence while waiting for the documents to arrive and came across this: http://insidethegate.com/how-to-spot-a-scam/the-mexico-escrow-scam-2/ I hope it helps someone else from not getting scammed as it surely helped me.

it's really difficult to rent a timeshare, i'm not gonna lie, some resorts sells you nothing but lies, telling you that when you get tired of the timeshare, or when you cannot pay it anymore they will help you to rent it, but it never happens :/
in my experience, i just can give you a good advice and it's trying to rent it by your own, but in case you are looking to hire someone specialized, just make sure that they're not going to scam you asking for upfront payments! Here's some articles that might be helpful for you:
