I kept having pop ups telling me that my computer was endanger of crashing, had a virus,etc... Then I scanned it, and they said I should install for $49.95 and then $1.50 to activate.. Well, I am a single mother of 3 on a limited budget, this makes me sick.. But, I felt I was saving money by removing the "virus" before it damaged my computer.. And it's right here at Christmas too.. I hope something is done to this company!!!!!

THOSE POP-UPS ARE A SCAM! THEY WANT TO RIP YOU OFF!

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

What you need to do is report this to your Attorney General's division of Consumer Fraud.

It would have been cheaper if you had bought a McAfee or some other installation disk from Wal-Mart than go online.

I NEVER BUY ANYTHING ONLINE THAT ONLY HAS AN E-MAIL ADDRESS.
These crooks probably sold you some spyware and some malware that scans your computer to find if you keep bank accounts, credit card numbers, etc. on line WHICH I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
DO NOT DO FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS ON LINE -- I DON'T CARE HOW SECURE THEY CLAIM THEIR WEBSITE IT, IT MIGHT NOT BE A REAL WEBSITE. IT COULD BE A SCAM JUST TO GET YOUR IDENTITY SO THEY CAN OPEN CREDIT CARDS IN YOUR NAME, ETC.

YOU BETTER TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO A FRIEND AND SEE JUST WHAT WAS DOWNLOADED TO IT!
