I purchased 11 hard drives from this "company" (which is using a Yahoo email address for contact) on 09/04/2012 on eBay which they state they have 11pcs in stock. The very next day they mark the order shipped in the morning. A few hours later I receive an email stating "Unfortunately we made a mistake in our inventory and do not have the exact hard drives you ordered. We were wondering you if you would like different hard drives that are still compatible?"
Keep in mind, this was an eBay purchase that they were advertising. I immediately replied and asked for them to give me a call and provided my phone number. Several hours later, no response and no phone call. I tried calling all their phone number and of course it goes to voicemail. I tried several times, same result. I even Contacted ebay and they provided me with an alternate phone number. Same thing with that phone number, it gave me options (accounting, sales, customer service, etc) every single option kept going to voicemail. It was as if these phone numbers are only there to seem as if they have customer support but were in fact not answering their phones.
I then emailed these people several times through the email they wrote to me from and from ebay messaging. Several hours I receive an email saying "We are having major phone issues".... I responded back and told them to refund my money immediately. Needless to say I have not received the refund yet.
The bottom line: This company is selling items they do not have, when you have problems they do not offer customer support, will not return your phone call and will probably not return your money. Luckily I paid through eBay (Paypal) so I will in fact be getting my money back. I can only advise whoever is reading this to STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM MHD Enterprises / eBAY ID: PrintersPlusMore. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH

Thats pretty cool for them to do that. I think they should really keep track of things a bit better but its really good that things worked out the way it did.

LAST UPDATE

I would like update this one final time and say that it's unfortunate that I had quickly posted this and did not give MHD Enterprises enough time to make things right. One last detail I forgot and left out, they did offer us a compatible or replacement of our choice when they informed us the original part was unavailable. In addition, they also sent us not 1, but 2 visa gift cards for the inconvenience, AND took the time out to write a hand-written apology letter.
In conclusion, it is with deep regrets that I made an impulsive decision to post this without resolving it with the vendor first. Their emails, generosity and determination to make things right, only demonstrates their true class and superior customer service for their customers and has earned back our business again. They've proven that they value each and every one of their customers and I think a lot of companies can learn something from them. Thank you MHD and again, I want to apologize for an impulsive mistake on my part.

It kind of sounds like they dropship their products and not very good at it obviously.

UPDATE to original complaint

I am writing to update this report since my request to remove this report has been denied by RipoffReport. After writing this report, I received my refund. The refund came shortly after it was requested, but not before this report was posted. After MHD Enterprises received notification that this report was created, they wrote me a very polite and respectful email apologizing for the whole inconvenience. They did NOT ask for me to reconsider this report or to remove it. Instead, they asked how can they make it right and offered me a free gift card (although I did respectfully decline the free offer).
In conclusion, although my order was not fulfilled, they did refund the money in a timely manner.
