I recieved an email from Michael J. Armstead explaining that I had won the above facsimile check which represents First Round Jackpot funds reserved and available to be claimed by the winner from Prize Claim Center. If you are the named and confirmed winner in accordance with th offical rules, it is important that yuou claim your winings before May23. You will also be given six opportunities to win considerably larger amounts within 24 hours - without cost or obligation. No purchase necessary. I am hoping that this is not a hokes and the money is real. I am trying to purchase a home and I could use these winnings.

Did you enter this lottery/sweepstakes? If you didn't, how can you win?
The check is just as fake. Checks sent to cover fees or taxes is a scam. Taxes are taken directly from the winnings.
If you cash this check, it won't be long before the bank finds out and will be looking to you to pay them back.
Legit lotteries/sweepstakes do not notify you by e-mail. Especially, if you never gave it to them.
International lotteries are illegal.
No matter how you slice it, this is just another typical scam. Just delete it.

It seems that I recieved another email from ECN Reasearch aka . When I sent them an email explaining about the first email I recieved winning the money I also recieved an email from Inboxdolloars for taking surveys. To my surprise at the bottom of the web page there was a company called CottorWeb Enterprises. When I pulled up the website I found out that this ECN Research aka ecnpanel.com is an affliate of CotterWeb Enterprises. Here is the info of this company:

I called and was referred to Human Resources and I left my information about this Michael J. Armstead and I also faxed a copy of the email that i recieved from ECN Research. The link does not excist and was sent back undeliverable. I sent an email to the CotterWeb website and informed them that I have turned this over to the Ripoff Report. So for those of you that recieved the emails I suggest you do the same and let them know that we want or winnings.
