Michael Kia Mitsubishi I was wrong in this case, but this place is awful. Groton Connecticut

I was looking to do research on new and used cars. Knowing nothing about this process I went to the first dealership I saw: Michael Kia & Mitsubishi.

I told them from the start that I was doing research and would not buy a car. First thing they said was "if we made you a good deal would you buy a car today?". My response was "no".

Now I am receiving letters from banks saying that my loan application was denied and my credit is negatively impacted. The credit bureau said that I would need a letter from Michael Kia & Mitsubishi to delete the inquiries from my credit report. Michael Kia & Mitsubishi said they wouldn't.

This was my first experience with a car dealership and I feel very taken advantage of. The error was mine, but I have definitely learned from this experience. Most important lesson was to never set foot in Michael Kia & Mitsubishi again.

UPDATE:
I have visited another dealership (Antonino Acura) and had a MUCH better experience. The salesman answered my questions, explained everything in detail, and did not try to sell me a car. From my limited experience I can see this is what a dealership should be.

Michael Kia & Mitsubishi is still garbage.
