Mid-Atlantic Realty Heritage Court Mid-Atlantic Reality located in Delaware RIPOFF AVOID!!! Wilmington Delaware

I don't even know where to begin. This was the first complex thatcalled us back and since we were first time renters we didn't know any better and few places would accept us.

If you are in Delaware and looking for an apartment or home and come across Mid-Atlantic Realty KEEP LOOKING! save your self the time and money it cost us to learn that this realty company is the worst in Delaware.

We are currently in contact with the Delaware State Housing Authority because of water damage and repairs that have not been made after verbal guarentees from the new, third, leasing agent.

It is 91 degrees outside and its been above 80 degrees the past month we have not had a working air conditioner. The maintanance man that first looked at our hvac unti did not turn the breaker off so even though there was no cold air the unit was running for a month!

Our electric bill jumped from an average of $20.88 for the past year to $119.00 and the leasing agent would only prorate the rent $75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the second time the a/c has effected our electric bill and this was the only time they would acknowledge any responsibility.

There are drug deals in our laudry room, break ins in the parking lot, if you are lucky enough to even park near your building. The ceiling is cracking and the ceiling in the bathroom is slowly warpping into something i have never seen before.

Water damage is molding away the wall around the shower head and the wall between the hvac closet and bathtub. And i still haven't found that dishwash the first leasing agent lied about when she said there was one in this unit!

This place is a DUMP and it would be my greatest contribution to the community to warn anyone and everyone to stay away from Mid-Atlantic Realty all together. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and lived in such a miserable condition...and i pay way too much a month to live and be treated this way.

Please learn from our mistake AVOID Mid-Atlantic Realty, they will rip you off and toss you aside and ignore your rights as a tenant as if you were something they stepped in while reaching into your wallet!
