If you have not read Greg Dawson's column in the Orlando Sentinel from July 19th, then you might not know that Pete Spaziano was finally arrested. He is out on bail, but he is, hopefully, one step closer to being out of the scam business.

Once again, I would like to urge everyone who has been scammed by Pete to report him to your local law enforcement. Blogging a complaint here or anywhere else is not enough. He does not care about bad press and he does not care about paying his way again and again through small claims court. He doesn't care about anything except taking money and intimidating people.

For anyone in the central Florida area that is considering a contractor that was referred by www.reliableremodeler.com, beware. From reading the latest posts on this site it looks like he could still be receiving his leads through them. Most likely, he is still signing up by using bogus business names. The lead gets sent to him at the bogus address, then he shows up at your house as Mid Florida Contracting and you assume he is the 3rd or 4th referral that maybe they forgot to tell you about. Hopefully they have him figured out by now and will stop accepting him. Just do your homework before you hire someone. Check the DBPR website or call them to verify the license number. Also check the BBB.
