Midland Credit Management, Inc. (a subsidiary of the Encore Capital Group), also known as Midland Funding LLC, keeps contacting me about a credit card debt from 2002, which is not mine.
In April 2007 Midland even referred my account to their attorneys Harris & Zide. When I requested proof that I owe this debt, via certified mail, Harris & Zide did not respond.
I also had to dispute the entries to my credit report, which I won, but now MCM is starting to send me collection letters and I fear that I'll have to repeat my fight, probably forever, until I can find a way to have them remove my information from their computer system.
