I received a letter from Midland funding at my home on 8/25/07. I read the letter and it stated that Midland funding put a freeze on my checking account for a debt that was owed to them. However, this debt is not mine. This debt belongs to my husband who I have been separated from for three years. They froze my checking account because his name is on the account for child support purposes.

Cohen & Slamowwitz have taken child support money from this account for a debt that does not belong to me. Why should I have to pay for my husband's irresponsibility? What should I do? I am a single mother of two children, I need my money.
