I purchased the Dewalt electric air compressor because it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance or oil. With my job, I regularly need a generator and air compressor. I wanted to find something that did both and decided on the 3-in-1 Generator-Welder-Air Compressor. I didn’t think I’d really need the welder addition, but I bought it because I heard good things. Let’s just say everything I heard was true and MORE. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used this one machine and it’s even better because it saves space in my garage and is easy to transport to work sites.

 That's funny, I have been employed by same company since 1989. Your post is lies, lies and more lies. Don't forget I have talked to several people who bought this crap the same way. Just like Tahoe power equipment and just like the guys who sell speakers. A pawn shop told me that they would not buy it because they do this all the time and it's not what the seller claims. So he was wrong too? A BBB rating can be bought. If you have been in business for overy 30 years produce a document with your name on it from that date. If you dont, I advise anybody thinking of buying this overpriced power equipment to talk the salesman down heavily, turn around and walk into Home Depot and buy it from them. Way to many similarities to call Mighty quip any different than another scam company. Normal business doesn't operate in this fashion. This will be my last response to this. If this was a real company you would have other methods of selling it. Home Depot parking lots every other day (which i was told by home depot) are a huge sign that this is the same exact scam as Tahoe power equipment and several other brands i have been told. All someone has to do is Internet search it, it's not hard to figure out.

Also, I don't understand what this person means by the "speaker business" or the Tahoe Company comment because those have nothing to do with us. I believe the person who wrote this ad did it to help his position in a new company because this ad happened within a week after he left, and this individual actually threatened to post this type of ad when he left. Another reason we think this is written by him is because this ad talks about the model # EU8000, but the customer "Dahl" purchased an entirely different diesel generator with a model # of DA7000SS. If you click on the link below, you will see his ad to sell the equipment, which clearly shows the DA7000SS model #.

I also have talked to Mr. Dahl after his purchase 2 years ago. He bought a 5-piece show package with the intentions of only reselling the diesel generator and keeping the rest for his construction business. I helped him to answer questions for his potential customers. According to him, he was very content with the other items. Ask yourself if it makes sense that he would write a complaint 2 years after his purchase?

Keep in mind, 90% of all of Mighty-Quip equipment is made in the USA and can be proven. Most of our equipment is made by us here, or manufactured by us as an OEM (equipment language for original equipment manufacturer) and also DOEM (distributor of original equipment manufacturer). Examples of this would be that Generac builds our Honda Powered Generators and Trash/Water pumps. These are made in Waukesha, WI. Our Simpson Pressure Washers are built by FNA  Group in Pleasant Prairie, WI, and our DeWalt products are made in Jackson, TN. We can and will provide phone numbers and contact info to anyone that would like to know. Our Hot Pressure Washer and 3-in-ones,  (Honda powered-generator, welder and air-comp) are made in the USA, other than the Honda engines (which everyone knows are built it in Japan).  Everything we build is either made in the USA or assembled in the USA with foreign components, for ex: Honda engines from Japan.

Re-selling items on Craigslist is a secondary market, and is really not our concern, because we have no control over that market. It has been hi-jacked for many years by competitors talking down other competition's products. It has almost become standard business.

I would like to apologize to Mr. Dahl if this is indeed his ad, but I have called his phone on a number of occasions to see if he needs any help or if there's anything our factory can do for him and have gotten no call back whatsoever. We honestly believe that this is a fictitious ad from our competitor and that the evidence we have supplied is enough proof. If this is from the real customer, we would be happy to help him.
