Two rather strange calls today. Mike Jones (Indian gentleman) calling from Market Cube. First call on a Swiss number +41 43 508 50 92 won’t ring when called back. Told me they where in Ireland and then hung up when I pointed out they where on a Swiss number.
Second call by another gentleman also by the name of Mike Jones calling from Market Cube on an Ireland number, 00353 (1) 6859239
Asked if I was trading, when told I was an IFA with a CF26 trading Licence, there was a rather long break in the discussion while he panicked and lost composure. Tried to call back and the VOIP bounces to another phone then fails. My guess is the first call the VOIP was not set up correctly then bounced to a non existent number.
When asked what he was selling, he became quite then informed me he wasn’t selling anything and that I had registered. Which is possible.... but we all know how these things work and he was taken off script and buckled after several mins of silence other than a busy call center in the background. My suspicion was to stop wasting time and do the reasonable thing by informing others on here.
Then while entering the details on this site, an 0044 1235 330065 has called yet another possibility.
