While searching for ways to promote my new mixtape I came across this site and decided to give them a try. They say they will submit your mixtape to multiple websites and give you detailed updates along the way via email. After well over two weeks I received no updates and no responss to my multiple emails I sent asking what the status was. I even followed them on twitter and sent various tweets to them only to receive no response. If you are an artist looking for ways to promote your music STAY AWAY they will rip you off!

Response to seller calling me a scam artist

Once again I sent multiple emails along with other attempts to contact the seller on other social network sites only to get no response. Only after I initiated a paypal claim does the seller decide to respond to me. The sellers reason was that supposedly I clicked 100 sites on the order form but only paid for 25 which is why they chose to ignore my emails and not give me the service I paid for. First off, there was no order form to fill out only a drop down menu. Second, the drop down menu had various options and i selected the one for 25 sites. So being that it is the sellers drop down menu and they know the price for 25 websites they should have given me the service for 25 sites along with the list as promised on their site. Their site does say it takes two weeks to complete so the seller saying I waited 14 days to make the claim is exactly the time I should have waited to try and get my money back especially if im getting no response to my emails. Along the course of two weeks I was supposed to be provided with a list of sites they submitted to which they did not send so it is 100% false that they provided me with that.
After further investigation I found a complaint on the internet which can be found at the following link about the seller:
thisis50.com/forum/topics/scam-alert-tre-kabundi-of-mixtape-distribution-mixtape-atlas-is-1
During the paypal claim the seller offered to give me the service for the 25 sites but I refuse to do business with this company. Not only did I never get a response from them I never got a updated list as it states i would on their site. The only time I got a response is after initiating a paypal claim.
All I want is my money back which is why i made the claim as anyone would after getting the bad service I did. For the seller to accuse me of trying to scam them because they tried to sell me a higher order and I selected a smaller one is absurd. If I were to walk in a store and the clerk tried to sell me 100 T shirts and I said "no I only want 25" and handed them the money for 25 T shirts they would have given me 25 T shirts and I would have been on my way. Not take my money, give me nothing and wait for 2 weeks to respond only after I file a claim. This is bad business period. If I was a scam artist like they say why would I take the time to file a report on this website and file a paypal claim? Makes no sense.

Response to complaint

Mixtape Distribution has been in business since 2011, and in that time was have distributed over 1000 mixtapes for customers around the world.
Occasionally, a customer will try to scam our system by asking for a higher number of sites than actually purchased. When that happens, the order is placed on hold until the order form and the payment amount match or can be compared with each other. That is what happened in this case. the customer attempted to get us to do 100 sites but only paid for 25 sites.
When the issue came to light, we immediately processed the order for 25 sites and sent the results to the customer via email.
Further, as it states on our FAQ page (MixtapeDistribution . com / faqs), we give an estimated turnaround of approximately 7-14 days for 25 site orders. This customer tried to get his money back immediately on day 14, without allowing time for the order to be investigated or completed first.
We have corrected the issue with this customer and have completed the service as agreed, as we always do.
We look forward to working with any client serious about distributing their mixtape, as along as don't try to scam our system.
