Model Productions Claimed they were having open casting call... then wanted 150.00 to compete Miami Florida

I too attended a "casting call" Manny called me and told me to come to have my child "audition" and bring any photos we had of him. He's 15 mos .. not sure what kind of audition for catalog print.. but ok.. so we went, we were told to come back an hour later..I asked if I could leave our photos, we were told we could but we should come back.. so we did. I asked them how it worked and they wouldn't tell me, just told me to wait. They gave us a number handed the photos back and told me they couldn't use them.

Then we went in line and got this pamplet, as I was reading it I could see that they were asking us for 150.00 minimum to get photos. I told them I wasn't interested in that, I just wanted to do the audition to get the baby some exposure to an agency. I was told by one of the "judges" (who really weren't the judges who make the final decision) .. that we could not go any further without paying them. We weren't told there were multiple sessions, or that we needed our portfolio or had to pay them.. we weren't told anything! From what they told us, we were just told we would meet with people scouting for models for catalogs. .. I wouldn't have dragged my baby out for something like that, it was a complete and total misrepresentation. I actually thought that our mall would keep scammers like that out of our community. I was wrong.

My next email is to them and our local news.. ps I tried to call them to talk to them about what happened.... and they didn't return my call or emails so far..
