Well, I ordered two model helicopters on 29 June 2013, I was informed that it may take 8 weeks for my order. That was no problem & initially communications with the seller were very good.

I also ordered an aeroplane on 2nd August 2013. The aeroplane arrived early September! Very pleased!

From here, it is all down hill!

I enquired as to the status of my outstanding order for two helicopters. Initially I received no reply, but after sevral further emails & several enquiries through the seller's website I received a reply. Not from the seller, but from Customer Services.

Good day! On behalf of our company, this is to inform you that your Sikorsky S-92 Irish Coastguard & a Royal Navy SAR Seaking models are on schedule for final inspection by next week and will send photos for approval before we proceed on the final coating.

I replied a week later on 13 Sept 2013 when no photos were forthcoming

I tried again on the 27th September, still no photos, no emails or anything else

Customer Services replied later that day

Good day! It is with great concern that I address an incident you experienced with your order. After hearing on this issue, I would like to make an apology and we are taking all the necessary steps to make sure that this type of problem does not happen again. My apologies that you have not received an immediate response and photos as promptly as you expected. We experienced an unusually large number of orders, which disrupted our normal delivery schedule. To serve you better and faster, we expedite the process on your model/s. Please see attached photos for approval of your model/s before we proceed on the final coating.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience we might have caused and look forward to filling your future orders in a timely manner.

Thank you for your patience in this matter

 

I then received this on the 28th September.....

 

I would like to add my sincerest apologies for how your order has been dealt with.  Its show a total disrespect towards customers from my staff and I will take it up with the people concerned.

Your comment about my own speed of response in getting paid is indeed very valid and I shall mention also to my staff that if they act in the same way trying to get orders then they would fail very quickly!!

Ultimately as the owner of the company I have to take full responsibility for this situation but please be assured I take your comments and observations very seriously.

I trust that the finished models are to your satisfaction and that we may shortly be able to ship them to you.

Despite the photographs being of the generic models....wrong registrations, a few wrong colours, I approved them.....hoping that it would mean they were actually delivered. They haven't been & I've had no replies to further enquiries I've made.

I've now had no choice but to request a full refund. I've informed my Credit card Company & my solicitor. Fingers crossed I get my money back, because for some reason it seems unlikely that I'll receive my models. baffling considering I received my Aeroplane model 3 weeks early!!

In addition as a token gesture for the inconveniences caused could I make an open offer to you to take any future model at 30% of the actual selling price.  I can leave that open for you for the next 1 year.

I have to say, if only someone took the time to keep the customer up to date, reply to enquiries etc etc then the whole process would be stress free.
