Mohawk Industries I paid for top of the line carpet! They do not stand by there product at this time! Carpet has worn BADLY!!!! Internet

I have been a customer for years and my last top of the line purchase was very expensive! The carpet has not worn well! It has not held up! I am a very unhappy customer! They will not replace this carpet! I have spent thousands of dollars on there carpet! I am a local business owner and I understand customer service! I have contacted them several times and have asked for help in this matter! The last thing I was told was that they would discount the price to replace carpet. What I have requested was for them to cover the cost 100%. I do hope they will consider contacting me and help me with this matter.

No, this is not comercial, we had a home built to retire in. Sowed bad wear approx. 4 yrs after carpet was installed! Sales person started looking deeper into this for me and has been told that this carpet they now know, is not recomended for high traffic areas like entry or family room! Because I have used mohawk for years I was used to the quality that we had in our other homes. This is not quality carpet and now our 4 children are married and moved away, we have built this home to rtire in and now possibly have to spend more money on new carpet! My husban is not happy about this and feels it should be covered 100%.

The problem here is that even our salesman was shocked as he looked into this for us that there was no warranty to cover replacement! On this top of the line carpet there should be! I was also told that a beater bar vacume should never have been used on this carpet? This is just crazy! Our salesperson that sold it to us said they were unaware of this, or they would never have let us purchase this carpet! I have spent thousands of dollars on this carpet and had there been a good warranty, it would be replaced, no problem!

How long did you have the carpet?
Is it in a commercial location?
Is it rated for heavy commercial use?
How can you realistically expect them to replace it for free?
Then when the replacement wear, you'll need to re-negotiate for another free replacement.
It sounds to me like their offer may have been fair.
