Monica Hulzing more than accomidating Tarpon, Florida

After signing a rental lease with monica,we learned the laundry room,which is accessible by 6 other apartments in our complex,is ran from our electricity,when we questioned monica about this she told us "if you dont like it you can move".Of coarse we would not like to pay 6 other families laundry bill,so we contacted the electric company,and were told there was nothing they could do unless i payed to have the room,which is located outside of the building,rewired.Not wanting to do that we contacted the owner of the property,who inturn told monica to lock the laundry/storage room and not allow any tenants,even us who pay the electric,access to that room.

The day after speaking with the owner we came home to find they had changed the locks and were told they would not provide a key.When we asked monica about how we were to get our clothes from the dryer,and our other stored items she told us,"if we wanted those things we shouldn't have left them in there overnite"Then she proceeded to tell us since we had a problem with paying all of her other tenants laundry bill that our rent would now be 525.00 per month rather than 505.00,which is stated in our lease.we signed a lease that gave us access to a laundry room and our rent was to be 505,if we no longer have a laundry room our rent should hav gone down not up.we are still in the middle of this dispute,any help would be appreciated.
