Shock absorbers failed at 35,592 and 13,681 miles Monroe replaces them free but it cost $268.55 to have them replaced. Now this would be the third time I need to have them replaced with a total of 49273 miles on two brand new sets of shock. The car is a 2004 Nisson Pathfinder shocks bottom out and are leaking oil.
Question is why would I put in a new set that I get for free only to cost 268.00 in labor and have them fail again? There web site says check your shocks at 50,000 miles. They should say every 15,000 miles if replacing with Monroe brand shocks.
They are a Rip Off in every sense of the term.
