These people at More To Life Adult Day Healthcare seem to want to make their living taking care of elders who have no real care issues. Don't bother bringing in a senior who needs special attention as they don't want to give time to them. It seems to me that they are in a religious organization that will refer to their own. In Nevada, that's not too difficult to understand. It is a terrible thing that as people age, companies are forming out there to be scavengers of their savings.

Best for Elders to Avoid Reno and Sparks

Unfortunately, the Alzheimer's Association of Northern Nevada is a profit based offshoot of the national organization. I have researched reports asking for an investigation into their fund raisers, as their have been claims, (yes, claims), that they refer based on income derived from the amount of money they raise, not necessarily the service provided. This outfit, More to Life, is run by Mormons, and derives much of their business from Mormon doctors in the Reno/Sparks area. You might get lucky, maybe not, but know that it is all about money. Good luck!

It is best to avoid Reno in retirement. This outfit, like most all of them, are in a buildings void of a view, far rom scrutiny. That's the deal. There is no valid complaint system for elder abuse in Nevada and those in the know keep the bad apple stories away from the public. It takes some asking around, and a little luck to get a decent answer, but I'm glad my family found that source. Nevada, on the whole, is best to be avoided for elders but they like the fact that there is no state income tax. I'd rather pay the tax.

Reno and Nevada already have a bad reputation in the national media; a talk with home insurers confirms
people and businesses are fleeing Reno and Nevada, and Wall Street had downgraded Reno to Junk Status. These shocking
behaviors by Reno businesses and Nevada public employees give a further black-eye to Reno and Nevada which is now a A
Blighted Ghost-town and Nevada a blighted State.

I hope this report draws the attention of those that are earnestly seeking help for their dependent loved one. We would love to discuss any and all concerns by phone and answer all questions.
We have a strong reputation for performing a labor of love. Although many companies are forming to extort the growing population of seniors, a short phone call or visit to our friendly facility will convince anyone that our service is based on love and not on money.
If you would like a professional reference, feel free to call Kathy at the Alzheimer's Association 786-8061.
Our webpage AdultDayCareReno.com outlines extensive details about how and why we started More to Life and why we named it the way we did. It also shows that our rates are about one third of in-home care or assisted living centers.
We thank you for highlighting our business and welcome any and all questions.
Please call anytime with complaints, concerns or complements, 775-358-1988.
Sincerely,
Jeff
