Mike Johnson is a total scammer! He has been running a rent to own scam in the Edmonton, Alberta for over 20 years! This slum lord gets unsuspecting tenants to sign faulty and non-binding “rent to own contracts” that aren’t even recognized by the banks. You essentially agree to own something you’ll never receive while he sits back stealing his tenants hard earned monies!

Whats worse is on top of being a theif Mike Johnson and his parter Dean Goertzen dont do repairs on homes. They hire shady repair men who are unlicensed and untrained to do home “repairs”. These guys do electrical and plumbing work despite being unqualified. What’s worse is if you leave them alone they will steal things from you. These are the employees at: Hometown Handyman, Nik Hewlett, who is unqualified and unlicensed to perform any type of home repairs or bonded professional home repairs. He is not a legally registered business and he takes bribes from Mike Johnson to create fake quotes to help him screw over tenants.
