I received the a card with "Recall & Warranty" for my 2005 Nissan Altima. It appeared to be from a government agency reporting a recall notice. However, on the back in fine print, it stipulated that you would need to purchase the warranty before any repairs were made or you would have to pay for the recalled part and labor. I really want these stopped because there are so many unsuspecting individuals that would think this is legitimate.
