Mr. B's is one company you DEFINITELY want to steer clear of. Imagine waiting days for service, a tech finally comes out, says your appliance is repaired and presents you with a hefty bill. He leaves, you turn on your washer and it is in THE SAME CONDITION as it was before the "Service Tech" repaired it!! You wait another 3-4 days, trudge to the Laundromat with your family of 5's mountains of dirties and finally after figuring out what was wrong with your washer yourself (Maybe YOU should be the service tech) go to Mr. B's to buy a washer pump for the price that was quoted to you, go to pay for it and the unscrupulous owner not having conned you out of enough $ adds on another $50 to the already inflated price he quoted you! Buy the EXACT same part online for $96 and he wants $165 even though you were originally quoted $120! You remind him of the $120 quote and he calls you a LIAR!!! Yes, YOU are the "Liar" even though you have the quote IN WRITING!! Isn't that excellent customer service especially when you are a good, repeat customer trying to give him some business as he is a local service provider in a struggling area??!! If that is not enough you have your sweet little wife, the epitome of reason call him and kindly let him know that you are less than happy with the way this is all panning out. He yells and becomes belligerent & nasty with her and then slams down the phone in her ear. After he of course tells her that he "does not believe in the Better Business Bureau".... and she must be a Liar, too!

Chrissy:
I am sorry you had such bad service from Mr. B's. I used to work for the owner before your report and am sad to say that this is the very reason he had to close his business last year. I'm not giving excuses, just stating a fact. Poor customer service led to losing customers and good employees.

The former owner retired and had to close last year and I came back to work for the new owner at the same location. I can tell you the new owner is wonderful! He believes in customer service and understands that customers do come first. Without customers, there is no business.

If you had a quote in writing, it should have been honored. In fact, a company can only go over 10% of a quoted price. However, quotes are usually only good for 30 days. The new owner here will honor for 6 months. If you would like to try us again, we would be happy to prove that this is a new company with a new attitude.
