Sorry to report this late, In september I purchased a used 1995 Tahoe from a local new car dealer, the owner and his wife greeted us and seemed real friendly and made us feel comfortable. The vehicle had low, low mileage, which concerned me, the owner assured me this vehicle was bought from, serviced, and traded back to his dealership from the original owner and that this is a good vehicle.

We haggled and agreed on a price as long as I buy the GMPP+ drivetrain warranty in case something does happen, he's cutting his profit and would lose $ if repairs came up.

After taking delivery the vehicle was pulling to the left, after 4 trips to his dealership, the vehicle pulls to the right, I totally gave up on them aligning it any further. Two weeks of owning the vehicle I get a call saying the financial papers were incorrectly signed and to bring in our papers to sign new ones, we resigned the new papers without reading them because they looked fimiliar and I thought I could trust these kind folks.

One month later the vehicle needed work, so I brought it to a local dealer for warranty repais only to discover that when I picked up the vehicle, the service advisor tells me I don't have a GMPP+ warranty, I have an Easy Care warranty with a higher deductable!. I called the owner and he said to bring the reciept and a list of problems with the vehicle and he would take care of it, I did just that and got a call from the service manager saying he can't do work thats not covered and he wasn't reimbursing me for the previous repair, then why did they want the reciept??.

after numerous attempts to contact the owner were unsucessful, I told his receptionist I was gonna start writing and calling if I don't hear from him, 45 seconds later my phone rings and I'm told to "never, ever threaten an Italian, you hear me!". So, why write now, I've put 4500 miles on the vehicle and the monthly repair cost are sky rocketing and I also found out this vehicle was bought from a wholesale lot, not traded to his dealership, I would never have bought a wholesale piece, never!!.

I traded in a Pick Up with 113,000 miles on it that was better than this vehicle with 48,000 miles. I feel these people make you feel comfortable and trusting and then turn the screws.

More about this false report

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 26, 2009

M&S does not purchase wholesale vehicle from a "wholesale lot", whatever that is. Vehicles that qualify as wholesale units - very aged or high mileage are wholesaled OUT to used car wholesalers, who then sell them to various used car outlets that specialize in older/higher mileage vehicles.

Records prove this is not a former employee, but a known con artist

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, June 26, 2009

Records prove that this entry was written by an individual who was never employed by any M&S organization. He references businesses that no longer exist. "M&S of Highland" has never existed. Morning Star Ford and M&S Daewoo have been closed for several years.

M&S of Pawling remains and has been selected by GM to represent the newly formed company in the future, remaining the premiere GM facility in the area with an impeccable reputation.

The author of this post is a known con artist and liar. His information is completely inaccurate and false. His claims are not only lies, but libelous slander with no basis in reality.

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, December 03, 2004

I am an ex employee of m&s of pawling.i bought a car from them.after a few weeks the car kept stalling they said they wouldnt fix it unless i got a certain warranty i have seen them sell cars with uncarriage damage repaired by a local auto body shop sold as ''owned by senior citizen''
the owners are really fake they will say what ever it takes to get rid of a vehicle but wont tell you yes this car was bought at auction or sold when was suppose to be wholesale.mechanics would say they fixed a problem when they didnt they kept doing that because they get paid for each car.etc so i rather travel to connecticut or long island to buy a car but definitly not from
m & s

First year of ownership

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, August 28, 2002

After 1 year of owning what they called "a nice truck", I have had the A/C Compressor replaced (warranty), the following items are not covered, 1- Intake Manifold Leak, 2- Pinion Bearing, 3- Coolant Niple On Manifold, 4- Exhaust Hitting Crossmember (rattle), 5- Seat Track Which Is Broken To The Point Where You Can Almost Lounge Back (hold on to steering wheel everytime you hit the gas!), 6- Step Rails That Collapsed ( I only weigh 160lbs.!). Cost Estimated At $3000, not to mention it still pulls to the right!!, This, in their own words is "a nice truck". I now have 54,000 miles on the truck, 6,000 miles driven since purchase.
