I made the mistake of buying an MSI Wind Notebook from Micro Center. They allegedly are among the best. If that's the case, then I'll never buy another notebook, because this blows.

Issues:

1) When I type in email, the cursor jumps all over the place. The only thing that fixes it, temporarily, is disabling the touchpad. That shouldn't be necessary. It's a band-aid solution. The touchpad is so sensitive, my fingers and hands don't come near it and supposedly it causes the problem of a jumping cursor.

2) It doesn't have a wireless modem that is compatible with the driver/software they installed from the factory, and they admitted it over the phone. If a notebook cannot get a wireless signal, it is essentially a useless box of crap.

3) The chip is very slow in processing commands.

4) Firefox and Google Chrome lock up daily. I won't even try IE. I have looked at and configured my browsers, firewall, anti-virus, etc. to find a solution. There is none. Even if I turn off the firewall. There is no worm or virus detected.

5) Someone told me it could be Windows XP. Well if it is, that renders this a box of crap.

6) The two software and driver disks they provided cannot be read -- they do not run or can be accessed manually. There is nothing wrong with my CD/DVD player because I tested it.

7) Their website is dysfunctional. I have never been able to successfully register my notebook for warranty coverage on their website. I could not even email to tech support -- the form doesn't work and its scroll-down menu choices don't mention my product nor problem. They know it and apologized to me. Don't need an apology. I need to register the box of crap.

8) Calloing Customer Service or Tech Support has so far been a waste of time.

7) Verdict: DO NOT BUY MSI. Pure garbage.
