MTA New York City Transit Not a great place to work at NY Brooklyn

I was with the Operating Contracts group before being loaned to the Capital group for a certain period of time. Even though the majority of the people I met are nice, especially those from Operating Contracts, I hated the ambience of the building, the bathrooms are disgusting, and being switched from a group that I was getting comfortable in to another group was not nice at all. Anyway, what led me to leave is the director of the Capitol group, Joseph Barthelemy.

One day, when I was at my desk, Barthelemy came by and falsely accused me of disrespecting him while I was sitting down with my legs crossed. He showed me up in front of my colleagues and boss by not only raising his voice at me, but saying that he was "reprimanding" me. All he had to do was simply pull me aside and politely ask me not to sit with my legs crossed. Instead, he decided to show dominance by harassing me in front of everyone. That's an egregious display of conduct.

I regret not reporting him to the higher-ups. As a result of this, I made sure to pay no mind to him during the rest of my time here, including not informing him of my resignation. Like I said before, most of the people are nice, it's just disappointing that I ran into this rotten apple.
