MWI* Connections rip-off scam Omaha Nebraska
*Consumer Suggestion: How to get a credit
MWI* Connections charged $109.95 to my Mastercard. I don't know what to do about this. Thank you Rip-off Report for being here for consumers. We would not get this info from the BBB!

How to get a credit

I work for a major credit card company in customer service. I also sell these products on the incoming phone calls. Your credit card company is not affiliated with MemberWorks, but offers the products to it's customers because they do make money on each customer they get enrolled in a product.
If you got enrolled by a rep from your card company, call the customer service dept there and they will be able to cancel the product without you having to talk to a rep from MWI, your card company will also issue you a credit immediately. These products do provide a great savings for those who utilize them and agree to being enrolled.
Let them know also if you were enrolled without your permission, all sales calls are recorded and the companies are required to keep the recordings for 2 years minimum. If you insist, they are required to pull the tape and let you hear the phone call. You also may have been enrolled in an outbound telemarketing call to your home. You may still cancel this through your card company. Don't let them transfer you to MWI because they will try to get you to keep the product and may not cancel it.
To prevent this in the future, call all of your credit card companies, and request to be taken off all solicitation lists, mail and phone. Also tell them you do not want any of your information shared with affiliates and third parties.
Sorry this is so long!! Hope it helps.
