I got a notice from my bank that my account was overdrawn and they were charging me$20 for an overdraft fee. My account WAS NOT in the negative (that I knew of). After checking with my bank and getting a print-out, we discovered a charge of $96 for MWI Essentials that I DID NOT authorize!

THIS HAS TO STOP. I don't have any idea where they got my VISA number, as I make it a habit NOT to order anything on the internet - just for this very reason.

How they get your number? If you check the list of the MWI memberships you will see. They could get it from Sears, from credit card companies (Fleet, AMEX), from a pharmacy, from an insurance company, etc.

MWI pays commission to ANYBODY who sells one of their useless memberships. Because there is no way anybody with clear mind would want their memberships, so inventive merchants, banks, etc. subscribe you without asking you.

To avoid their dirty tactics being discovered, your account is not debited immediately, only months later. So you do not have the slightest idea who selled your number.

Call the number on your bank statement, and not only request a refund, but demand to know who selled you the membership.

CLOSE your account, request a new one, before you are hit for other unwanted, unauthorized bs memberships. A short list of MWI memberships are here:
