Without my authorization, MWI Galleria USA billed my credit card number that was linked to my checking account for $149.95 resulting in $292 overdrawn charges from Bank of America. Although MWI Galleria returned the money, I am still short $292 in overdrawn charges. MWI Galleria has not responded to my claim and Bank of America is telling me that it is not their fault even if I informed them before the entry went through that it was unauthorized.

same credit card co. same ripoff thanks to this site I now know

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 28, 2004

Just this evening because of this website I discovered on my mothers ATT Universal Card the same charges! I contacted ATT Universal from a phone number on their website (see the back of your card) I was told by a rep named Rolex that a security packet would be sent to me/my mother. They would look into the scam and try to credit the account. I cancelled the card and reopened with all kinds of information "blocks" she was able to put on the card. Card companies don't let on to the fact they can block all this until you want to cancel due to fraud!

I intend to contact our florida attorney general and ATT with the information found on this site about Galleria USA @ phone#888-241-0050 and let them know California has a class action suit.

Unauthorized $149.95 Charge. Galleria USA, AT&T Universal Card on the Internet

AUTHOR: Keith - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 11, 2003

I periodically review the "unbilled activity" portion of my AT&T Universal Card on the Internet. Tonight I found a charge of $149.95 for "Galleria USA". The line contained a phone number 888-241-0050. I am certain that I have never done any kind of business with this company. A Google search led me to badbusinessbureau.com and I realized that someone has attempted to scam me.
