We were first "ripped off" by the promotional company associated with My Dream Shares, called Ultimate Vacation Experience, or Ultimate Vegas Experience.  They promised in writing, for attending the My Dream Shares presentation, a free hotel stay, free restaurant-dining, and several travel-discount gifts, yet each of those had a hidden "catch" where you end up paying for your dining, paying excessive extra fees & taxes at the hotel, and paying other surcharges on all the other "gifts" such that you pay more than you would have if you booked those things directly and didn't attend the presentation. Plus, they charge you $299, and you get nothing close to being valued at $299!!  They just did not come through on even those basic "gifts" that were promised for attending the presentaiton, which is crazy, as even other timeshare presentations give you a gift of value for attending their presentation.

The My Dream Shares presentation & slides had many lies in it (including that they are A+ on BBB when they are not), and they told us many other statistics, prices, and "facts" that we checked later to learn they were just not true. They mislead all 4 of us relatively intelligent adults into thinking that they can get amazing discounts on travel, so that even though you pay for the club membership, you will save so much. But ALL of their so-called savings bargains, from the "2 for 1s" or other discounts, just are not true. What they sometimes do is inflate the original price of the hotel stay or cruise, and they say they will give you a $xxx.xxx in savings, but the price you would ultimately pay is MORE than you would pay if you booked directly, with no fees, through a number of websites (expedia, booking, etc).  Bottom line is you will not yield savings. And you will not have any flexibility about what time of year, what days of week, what rooms, or what location you want to stay in if you are seeking a discounted price.

Don't even go to the presentation because (1) you won't get what they promised for going there, and (2) you will be filled with false hopes of travel savings that ultimately will be a nightmare for you.

I was lucky that even though I did fall for the BS and signed up and paid with credit card, I cancelled within 3 days so my card was not charged.  They also use a bogus "escrow company", which does not truely exist except in name. That group is called Incompliance Services, and I tried many times unsuccessfully to reach them by phone and email (listed on my contract) and only got automated robo-replies each time, and I believe that they are not an actual escrow company, despite the lies told to me about them by the My Dream Shares sales-people.
