Complaint Review: National Advertising Center - NAC - Canoga Park California
National Advertising Center - NAC Green Magazine Warning.. This is a scam! Canoga Park, California
*Consumer Comment: Feel scammed, company unwilling to work with me
Company is a total rip off. They told me that I would be featured in a magazine that would be given out at the register to 20k people per month. The magazine is in a small pile by the door. They claimed that they would bill me quarterly. They have been billing me monthly. Then they took a draft out of my bank account without my permission. Don't believe these slick sales people. Now a Ms. Dickerson is calling claiming she's an attorney and I need to pay up or they will levy my bank account that they will not let me out of my contract.

Feel scammed, company unwilling to work with me

I completely agree with you. Looks like "Mrs. Dickenson" is making her calls today... she contacted me, too. She wanted payment today, or she would be filing a court case. I spoke to the NAC office a month ago and made an agreement to make an installment charge by the end of January. Mrs. Dickenson had no record of this.
I delayed first payment with them, as I did not see the publication in the location as promised. They have twice taken money out of my bank account without my authorization (they created a check draft using my checking account/routing numbers from my initial check payment), which lead to bounced checks, insufficient funds, bank fees and currently I am unable to run my business and will have to close after 1 year. Isn't advertising meant to assist a business, not ruin one?
