I will make this short and sweet. Stay away from this company. Total rip off and if I could do it all over again, I would have selected another company. You have been warned.

AUTHOR: Ckraft - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 24, 2008

National Deck & Patio contracted with Mr. Gxxxx on May 1st, 2008 to build a fairly large paver patio with a sitting wall at his home. The contract is very clear in regards to the project type, installation, warranty, delays, payment etc. Mr. Gxxx chose to finance his project. Upon approval of the financing which was obtained on May 5th the contract is then was processed into the job pipeline. Loan documents are ordered from the finance company, materials are ordered etc.

The loan documents were signed by the customer on Tuesday the 27th of May. At that point Mr Gxxxxx states that he was having a party the coming weekend and must have the patio installed by the weekend. Please understand this was a Tuesday afternoon. Mr Gxxxxx was communicated with by 3 seperate members of management on the same day. Mr Gxxxxx was told we could in no way promise that his deadline could be met. He was also informed that there were multiple deliveries to consider and the weather would have a huge impact on the installation.
Mr. Gxxxx chose to start the project without any promisesor guarentees. We were able to arrange the deliveries for the following day. We rearranged our installation crews and accomodated Mr. Gxxxx to the best of our abilities. Although Mr. Gxxxxx states ZERO communication? The month of May had no less than 18 days of rain. That weekend we did get more rain. We appolized to the customer, but as we told him these are things that are beyond our control. We will tell you in this business mistakes do happen. While the patio did finish within 4 days (including the day lost by the weather ) there was a mistake in the placement of the circle pattern which was immediately corrected.

As far as the installation crew Mr Gxxxxx seemed to be very happy with them.Upon the completion Mr Gxxxx informed the crew that he was very happy with them and the job but he was not happy with the company. I was on the phone with the crew the last evening they were at his home. Mr Gxxxx had no dificulties communicating with the crew at that time. Representatives from the company placed at least 10 calls to Mr. Gxxxx following the completion and he refused to return any calls.

On June the 5th Mr Gxxxx sent an email to us via our website this email also states that he had communicated with the crew. The owner of National Deck and Patio contacted Mr. Gxxxxx and as of today Mr Gxxxx has not returned one phone call. Where we went wrong I am not sure. NDP would like nothing more than to satisfy Mr.Gxxxx unfortunetly has chosen not to communicate with us. How can you possibly be considered a ripoff when you have FULFILLED ALL CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS. National Deck and Patio does not claim to never make a mistake, what we do claim is that WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. We do value all of our customers and it is important that they are all happy at the end of the day. Respectfully, CKraft
