I saw an ad in Loopnet for someone looking to joint venture.  I sent in my project, and paid the $100 processing fee.  I then was contacted by Brad Scott concerning what the project was. I sent the summary and he said that they were interested in a joint venture, they would put up the money for the project, I do teh work and we split the profits.  They requested $4,000 in an escrow account for due dilligent expenses, with the promise if it was not funded the money would be returned.

    We enterred into agreement and started working on teh land purchase, after several weeks of negociations we finally reached a price and terms, then it was time to execute the contract and put the money in escrow.  There wer no more phone calls, no more contact and teh money was not returned.  He turned out to be a true con man, and needs to be in jail.
