National Safety Equipment Scam, Preying on desperate people needing jobs, Charges for background check Las Vegas Nevada

I found a job listing on Craigslist and sent my resume as per requested by the ad. (regretting now that I did this because they have all my personal information). A few days later I had received a phone call from 702-437-2000 a woman named Catherine Lopez introduced herself and she said I had read your resume which I might add is a great one. I want to know when you will be available for an interview. She wanted me to come in at 11 am and I couldn't do so. (I had to borrow money to buy some clothes as I really wanted this job and to look like the profressional persn that I am.)

So she told me to call her at 9:00 am tomorrow and I will schedule you then probably about the same time 11:00 am. I called her starting at 8:30 am (I was really excited about this job!) and called every 10 minutes until she answered the phone. When she did she said asked are you available today? I said yes and I am very motivated!!! (I was dressed, hair and nails done borrowed money for that too and looked like a million bucks just waiting to go sell myself on this job I really thought I would have this one in the bag!!)

She said well I don't have any openings until 1 pm. She said let me tell you about our company. She said we are National Safety Equipment. I said really my mistake when you told me yesterday that it was National Fire and Safety Equipment and I wrote it down as you told me. She said no your wrong. But we are opening 4 new offices in the Las Vegas area. We need a district manager for each office. (why so many I am thinking) She said we are a very large company and are expanding to the Las Vegas Market. I was excited and said I am the person for your job.

She says Ok I can make your appointment for 1 today I need you to bring with you 2 forms of ID, and a list of 3 professional or personl references. And I will need you to bring $60 so if you are offered the job which I think you will be this will pay for the back ground check. I told her I have been out of work for 2 months I have no money to buy food right now and can't you take that out of my first check. She said no I won't because if it comes back bad we don't want to be paying for your background check.

I said I wouldn't be giving you the money if I thought for a moment that it would come back bad. I am not into the business of giving my money away. She laughed and said when will you have the money. I said I don't know maybe Friday. Do you want to schedule for Friday. I said no I will borrow the money some how some way and make it today. (thinking I don't know where I would get this money I am already into a loan now for my hair nails and clothes $150.00) i asked her well couldn't we do the interview and then I can pay you on Friday so we can get the ball of wax rolling. She said no way. We can't see anyone who don't have the money up front.

Another red flag popping. Had the whole city of Las Vegas covered with Red Flags now with all of what she was saying. I set the appt. for today May 21, 2013 at 1pm and told her i would be there. I then went online and googled the address and wouldn't you know it came up to this page rip off report and the same similar scam is listed here. What is it going to take to get this Scam artist from preying on people like me to rip us off out of the $60. That is a lot of money for me when I can't even buy food and go days without eating and just drink tons of tap water to fill up. Somebody needs to do something about this person and the scams!
