National Shopping Servicve NSS sent fictitious cashier's check to perform shoppings with Rocklin California

I received in the mail, a cashier's check for $2430.00 that appeared to be real, and was instructed to deposit it immediately and advise company via text or e-mail.  The check came back to my account as fictitious and was debited from my account.  Upon calling phone number on letter with cashier's check, the person named on letter was Jake Thomas.  Upon calling him at phone number given, he answered and said he was "Jake Thomas" and that the number I dialed was his number.  He then hung up while I was trying to explain.
