*Consumer Comment: Bank Deduction
Nationwide Car Insurance took more money out of my bank acct. Than authorized. When asked why they did that, they said. " People are getting in wrecks and someone has to pay for them" I never got a letter or anything saying my policy was going up. Never got in a wreck or ticket the whole time I was with them.

Bank Deduction

The flippant response you received should have had you on the telephone to the Regional Manager complaining.
Probably what happened was that you policy increased at renewal and that deduction was taken from your account (by the way-cancel the automatic deduction from your bank-an unscrupulous employy can clean you out-it has happened).
What could also be possible is that the carrier found something in your history that you 'forgot' to mention-such as a speeding ticket, and unreported accident or some such.
I would contact their Underwriting Department and ask for a detailed explanation of the increase. Wait 30 days, ask again and start complaing up the corporate ladder if not satisfied.
