I have a serious complaint regarding this company. They have been charging my phone bill $12.95/mo since January 2003 for a voice mail system I do not have nor signed up for. I have no idea how they got my information, ie phone number, birthdate, mothers maiden name. But they have stolen it from somewhere while I was purchasing something that required giving very sensitive information on the internet.

According to their customer service department' they cannot provide any proof that I signed up for this service except for sending me a form letter with my phone number, birth date & on the phone they could give my mothers maiden name & IP address.

All can be purchased or stolen from other companies that I have purchased or ordered from. They unfortunately cannot prove that I filled out any of this information for Nationwide Voice Mail, Inc. I have asked for simple proof of this purchase I supposedly made. Here are my requests:

1.I want a copy of the actual form (application) I filled out which is where I am supposing they are getting my electronic signature. All they could provide me with is this form letter' that they plugged my information into and calling that my electronic signature.

2.I want a copy of the Confirmation emails that they supposedly sent to me. I never received anything of the kind!

3.I want a copy of the email sent to me that supposedly gave me an 800 number and a personal voice mailbox. I never received anything like this either!

4.A copy of these Coupons? Worth up to $1,000 in Grocery Savings.

5.I would like a copy of the email sent to me on Jan 23 2003 stating: the validation process was completed, the order was approved, and the Company sent Tanya Denton an email confirming the activation of my toll free voice mail service. The Company's activation email provided me with complete operating instructions, reiterated the costs of the service, the opportunity to cancel our service without incurring any charges within 72 hours, a toll free customer service number and the address our cancellation web site. Not a bit of this was received by me.

6.I will be sending copies of my phone bills since January 2003 when they first started frauduantly billing me on my home phone through a company called Integre Tel . According to Integre Tel, they will be crediting me 3 months of this service, because that is as far back as they can see according to Edwin, my confirmation number is XXXXXX. My husband is the first to see these charges on our phone bill in September. He called to cancel on October 9th. We have together spoken with 3 customer service employees, I was turned over to Elba a Supervisor, who then turned me over to her boss.

None who could help me, other than plugging my information into this form letter and emailing it to me. Just to let you know the way I retrieved Nationwide Voice Mails phone number was though www.ripoffreport.com. I am very very disturbed at how they could have gotten this private of information, i.e. mothers maiden name, my birth date.

Also, I would like to point out that should they be inclined to look up my voice mail box (if I even have one), you will see that there has NEVER been any activity on it. And let me tell you if I am knowingly paying $12.95 for a service, you better believe I am going to use it (especially since you've been billing me since January for it). The Manager was quite a smart alec about the fact that it took us so long to find these charges on our bill, just so you know, it is not our habit to look for purposely erroneous charges on our bills.
