Nationwide Windows & Siding Over Charged Paterson New Jersey
*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Plywood
I hired Nationwide Windows and Sinding to reside my house. Once we agreed on a price, I told the rep we also need wood and he disagreed. They gave me several discounts but later I find I needed the wood I asked for in the beginning. They Charged me an additional $2700.00 for the plain plywood and charged me $60.00 a plank and for installation. I thought we paid for instalation when we paid for the siding in the contract. Although they did a good job they nickel and dimed me for the original price. I have a small home and believe I was ripped off.

Ms. N, We appreciate your feedback and always take every issue seriously to grow our organization. As with any siding project it is nearly impossible to determine what is underneath the siding we are removing. We have a rotten wood clause at the bottom of all of our paperwork specifically for this reason. We feel that it wouldn't be right to charge our clients if there isn't justification. In your case when we ripped off your siding it became apparent that a tremendous amount of plywood was needed to install your siding the correct way. When any type of wood is rotten we need to install new plywood and charge accordingly. It doesn't seem right to charge a client for something that is not necessary. So accordingly we only have to charge for necessary materials that's are needed to complete your installation. We truly apologize for any miscommunication that occurred and we always want to install according to industry standards. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way or if you would like us to explain this further.
