"NATLSBA" With A Contact Number And Name Of 800-9469844 Ex 400 Lakia Bates Offered a buisness American Express with 0 intrest $8000.00 credit for an activation fee of $149.99 Internet Only

I received a phone call on May 16, 2007 from a woman calling herself "Lakia Bates" claiming to represent a company named "NATLSBA".

She explained that they were working with American Express and were offering small business people a special promotional offer. This offer was a Gold American Express Card with a $8000.00 line of credit with a 0% interest rate for the life of the card if I would giver her my checking account number.

She went on to explain that there would be a one time charge of $149.95 that would entitle me to a 0% interest rate for the life of the card and furthermore I could charge any amount I wanted and did not have to pay the balance off at the end of the month. I could make monthly installment payments.

I told her I was not going to give my account information to anyone over the phone and that I would like to look the company she was representing up online. She gave me a web address of:
www.NATLSBA.com and her phone number of 1-800-946-9844 ex 400.

I dialed the 800 number offered back and it rang only one time and then only dead air.
