I was contacted by letter to let Kip Handcock negotiate a loan modification for me with my lender. He wanted me to send $3,395.00 TO him, of course I'd get the money back if he couldn't do the loan. I didn't fall for this scam!!!

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, November 13, 2008

I have talked with the employees of this company many times. They made an adjustment to their coporate structure to accomodate people in the difficult econmics times. I believe if consumer do their research before consulting different companies they will be better off. Being informed before contacting companies helps to provide a better experience for both the company and the customer.

You can't make everyone happy! And NO....this is not a ripoff!!

My name is Kip Hancock and I am a loan modification specialist. For people who can't refinance, have no equity or just have a hardship because of the economy, I am able to represent the homeowner and negotiate with the bank. We have established relationships with all the mortgage servicing companies and have the ability to get terms as low as 2.25% on 1st mortgages. We have negotiated 2nd mortgages for 5 cents on the dollar and in some instances have had them completely forgiven by the bank. These terms that I have described have been based on the consumers financial position and every bank is a little different, that is why there are no defined guarantees. If you fill out our application and submit it to our company, we review it before we charge any fee because we have to determine if you are even a candidate for a loan modification. Not everyone qualifies.

I can totally understand MARY'S concerns about paying a fee up front, but that is how this industry works. There are companies that are charging as much as 7K.

If you were to refinance a typical 400K loan you would be looking at $3000 in 3rd part fees, 1 point to the loan officer and you would be looking at about $7000 and that doesn't include prepaid interest or impounds. Secondly, if you are foreclosed upon and would have to find other living arrangements, you would have to pay 1st and last months rent along with a security deposit based on your now ruined credit.

If you really have a hardship, and you want to save your home, please call me and I'll be happy to talk with you about your situation. 877-855-6206

Negotiation Center Of America Helped Us Save Our Home

AUTHOR: Jeffrey Green - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 12, 2008

Due to an Injury & loss of income our house payment went several months late. We tried calling the loss mitigation department and dealing with the situation on our own. After probably 50 phone calls back and forth,Faxes od current income/expenses, and a hardship letter, we got absolutely no help from our lender. Instead, they made us feel like "deadbeats" for being in this situation and not honoring our contractual obligations. The stress that this caused our entire family is undescribable, infact, we both needed to go on anti-depresants & sleeping pills so we could sleep. It almost ruined our marriage of 21 years. We could not sell our home due to the current market, but raised our 3 children in the home we love & did not want to move as we knew it would be hard for our children.

We recieved a letter from NCA saying that they may be able to help our situation allowing us to keep our home. After paying their fee of $5,500.00 and providing them the information needed, they went to work for my family. It took many phone calls, emails, & faxes but not only were our late payments adjusted and rolled into the loan, the adjustable rate was also fixed & lowered saving us $692.00/month. Words cannot describe how greatful we all are & anyone who needs help will definately get the help they need from this company. ThanK You Very Much, Jeffrey

This is not a scam

AUTHOR: Natalierene - (U.S.A.)

I am a customer of Negotation Center of American. They were able to do what they promised and more. It was worth every penny I spent to save my house. They were able to get me really low rate which was able to drop my payments down so I can afford the payment and not lose my home. I not only think this is NOT a scam, I recommend this to anyone.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

This service is not a Scam.

AUTHOR: Mike - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 25, 2008

The message suggests that just because an upfront fee is charged this service is a Scam.

Most business's must charge for whatever they do in order to function/profit. We are no different and like other legitimate business entities, charging a fee does not automatically indicate we are not providing a valuable benefit to our customers. In fact, this service helps people remain in their homes affordably that otherwise could not.

The person posting this message was not our customer and therefore has no real information as to how our company operates. This person did not pay a fee and was obviously not "Ripped-Off".
