One word to define this auction house - CORRUPT.

If you need to do business with this organization, have money fronted prior to releasing your items, or walk away.

I've dealt, on faith, with consignment shops before, and all went well. So I put faith into this organization. Mark and Naomi's facade was very accommodating, naturally, until it was time to pay.

They've signed contracts to sell hundreds of model trains -  cars/engines, which brought in many buyers and thousands of dollars. But when time came to send my money, they played the ‘check is going out’ routine and went as far as to change phone numbers.

Again, they are sweet-as-pie to lure you in, and tell you whatever you want to hear. But when it is time to cut a check, look out!

Hmm, maybe that’s why Mark’s a fast talker.

Also, their 90 day payment policy is part of their corruption - to hold your money as long as possible. Their 15% take is another part of their scam. A ‘carrot’.

I posted this review to WARN YOU. If you decide to follow thru with trusting them. I hope you consider this review CAREFULLY before doing business with them.

Get your money first! If they tell you payment upfront is not their policy, FIND ANOTHER AUCTION HOUSE.

Lastly, check BBB.org under New England Toy Train Exchange and see the  billing complaints. Consignees waiting 6,7,8 months on a 3 month term.  And their excuse is awaiting payment. An easy crutch to lean on.

Unfair juxtoposition of employee to company

AUTHOR: David - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, June 15, 2018

I was a fortunate client of NETTE and always was well treated, got my merchandise as promised and never had an issue.

The gentleman who has complained is no doubt among the victims of the owners of this firm. There is no denying that the owners are under criminal indictment for many bad practices.

This company had employees who meant well and did not participate in any way in the mishandling of funds. Mark T is among those.

The angry, and he has every right to be, complainer has conflated Mark T with the owners in a rather understandable, if nasty approach, by trying to besmirch Mark T on Facebook, where he has announced a new personal service.

Mark T has not been indicted, faces no criminal or civil sanctions for his actions as an employee.

The post on Facebook is mean and out of line.
