Yesterday(08/28/2007) I received a letter from my bank saying that i had an overdraft. So I didnt know what that meant so I went to the ATM...and BAM! My money was gone. I was fuming. I immediately called my bank and got no answer, but I left a message.

I went to the bank today and the lady looked up my account...She asked if i had ordered something over the phone..I said no because i didn't...so she looked some more and said that someone named NMB had withdrawn 99.95 from my checking which caused me to overdraw...so i am like who is that? I wrote the info down.
.
As soon as I got home, I googled this NMB...then i discovered the reports on which have been filed on this site within the last few weeks. I immediateley called my bank and left ta message. I have filed an identity theft complaint against NMB.

I will call them directly in the morning to try to resolve the issue...If not we will go to the *mattresses* They took my rent money and I am not having it.

Now mr bigshot owner comment on that... There is no way in hell all these people are lying on this company. I smell a civil suit coming.

To the rebuttal of the owner...I never filled out an application. It is a prepaid card to me and I dont do prepaids. If u have to send your own money into a credit car and u try and charge me interest on my own money...real funny. Well to all the other peopl reading this have taken my steps to get this resolved.

I went to my bank they told me I had to file a police complaint..in which i have done...the next step is to file the dispute which i am going to do in the morning. Also I faxed a letter to the company asking to call or email me about the matter.. no response. So trust me MR. OWNER, I dont make threats I mke promises. And one again i will say... why woukd all thes people lie on your company? Obviously you need to change your system or aomething. And refund these people their money back...because they dont want what your selling!!! How can u charge for a service that youh are not providing..What idiot in their right mind would pay 100 dollars to complete aN APLLICATION THAT THEY MAY NOT GET APPROVED FOR?!!!

Wel folks I will let you know what happens.

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Please don't make false complaints against my company

AUTHOR: Robert Hunt - (U.S.A.)

Dear Ms. Erica,

I read your complaint and was shocked by what you have written. You referred to me as "mr. bigshot owner" and I did not appreciate that. You even went so far as to threaten lawsuits. Nevertheless, as owner of the company, I will take the higher ground and not engage in this immature behavior. Firstly, we are not a scam, we're a credit card company. We give our customers the convenience of applying online with their checking account information to take care of the $99.95 fee.

Therefore, one of two things happened. Either you applied for this credit card online and do not remember, or you allowed someone to get a hold of your checking account number and they applied with it. Either way, you have absolutely no grounds to spread blame on New Millennium Bank. We are a community bank and I would appreciate if you refrained from making falsified claims against this well-respected organization. Please feel free to write back if you have any additional questions, and I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Make sure you follow up with your bank in writing.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 30, 2007

If you haven't already done so, make sure that you file a fraud affidavit in writing. Get the necessary forms from your bank or search the internet for a generic form. Look through your account terms and conditions for the section on where to send it or call your bank and ask them. You need to file it in writing within ten business days to preserve your right to disbute the transaction and receive any provisional credit for the disbuted amount.

Good luck.
