New York Bride - N.Y Bride ripoff dishonest fraudulent policy rude service incompetent staff Syracuse New York

I was recently in Ny bride to pick up my bridesmaid top and bottom along with 3 other bridesmaid. Before we ordered the dresses the lady who does the alterations measured all of us. The top that i had tried on in the store was a size 10 because they only carry but so many sizes and they didn't have a size that actually fit in the store.

So after doing the measurements i was told to get a size 14. I felt that i could loose the weight and so i ordered a size 12. Well when the 12 came back it didn't zip up the same way the size 10 didn't. So Courtney, one of the cashier/sales rep. measured me and said i went up an inch ( which i later found out wasn't true when in fact i lost inches)So she had me try on a size 14 in a different style top. That didn't fit either. She then preceded to tell it was because of my rib cage. ( i didn't know your rib cage could grow over night)

So i then realized that the lady that did the alterations gave me the wrong size on purpose to go by from the beginning.She should have said 16. Because even if i was to gain an inch (which i didn't) The top (size 14) should have zipped up. So if i did order what the so-call expert told me to order i still would have the same problem. Now unto the other bridesmaids Keep in mind they were also meausured from top to bottom for their dresses. Their tops and bottoms were ordered on purpose by the bridal shop too big.They didn't inform us of this when we first ordered them. And when we tried them on they told us your just going to have to pay extra to get it altered. (it so happens they have their own department for that in the store)

I mean its like why bother to get meausured if their going to give us what they want to give us anyway and take advantage of people and have them pay even more money for alterations on purpose. They have a stiff policy on refunds and even if its their fault they wont own up to it. I was told by Courtney (cashier/sales) that there is nothing there going to do about it anyway so get over it.
