I had been contacted by these shysters, claiming I owed unpaid tolls. I agreed to pay the amount by a specific date, which I did and have proof. These people claimed they never got that payment, yet my credit card/bank account is showing that exact amount of money is missing and went to the proper place. Now they are claiming I owe them an additional amount of money and they refuse to admit that what they just pulled is not only illegal, but it's messed up, too. Be very careful with the NY Thruway Authority people, they will pull a fast one, and leave you holding the bag.
