Newport Holdings - Martin Van Wolfswinkel - Jared Beesley BUYER BEWARE ! LIENS, LIENS AND MORE LIENS!!! Arlington, Texas

Buyer Beware !  Liens, Liens, Liens, Liens, and more Liens on your property if you buy from Martin at Newport Holdings Inc.

Martin does NOT pay his bills !  To get credit, he will use YOUR name and address for a contractor to deliver goods to build his houses....then he refuses to pay his own bills !  Next thing you know, you are getting certified letters delivered to you regarding a Lien being put on your house and presented with MARTINS bill ! 

I have been living in my house for 3 months and have regrets everyday from buying from Martin.  I should have continued to look elsewhere. Now, I'm stuck here.  And I cant sell because Martin REFUSES, DOES NOT return ANYONES phone calls regarding ANYTHING.  So, when you have a problem, dont even try to contact him. It will be a waste of your time. 

With Martin ignoring all of my attempts to get this situation resolved, I had to contact a lawyer and take legal action against him for first, using my name and address to achieve credit in order for him to continue building, second, to get the 3 liens taken off of my property. 

Yes, when in a blue moon when you do get in touch with him, he will give you a promise that he will NOT keep.  And that time and date will go by and nothing will be resolved.  And he will avoid you at ALL COSTS !!!

I had to go and talk to the VP of his company to find out that Newport Holdings also built his house and had liens put on his property as well. And Martin did NOTHING about it and had to be brought to court. 

Oh, not only to say that I had a contract on my house while Martin was promising MY house to another buying with the hopes that I would pick another unit so he can give it to HER instead!!!! 

If you are not going to trust your insticts by reading these reports, at least trust me on this...GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!  Spend your hard earned money on a better property on a builder who really cares about his customers. Because Martin does NOT care about you, ONLY YOUR MONEY !!! 

This place looks crappy, its a dumping ground for the construction crew. I had to pick up trash from my yard on a daily basis. I have given up on that task. I let it all be. My neighbor even called the City of Ft Worth on Martin regarding the grounds being a dump !  Needless to say how dangerous it is to go outside at night with NO LIGHT POLES !!!!!!  Oh, and when you have NO gutters on your house, when it rains, its like a falls outside your front door.  And when we asked about gutters, we were told to pay for it ourselves and have them put on.  Ummmm, if you look closely at the MLS listing, it shows that the houses are suppose to have GUTTERS. 

I could go on and on about this dump. Come see for yourself and make your own assumption...and when you are running for the hills, you'll thank yourself for reading these reports.

All I can say is IF you decide to move here, GOOD LUCK !!!! You'll be next writing these reports.....
