Michael, with Next Level Media Group contacted us to purchase Telemarketed Mortgage Loan Leads. When we declined he became very abusive to our staff.

Then when Ralph called us from Next Level Media Group we did not make the association. We requested a call back, during which time we researched the company. We checked them out on the internet.

When Ralph called back I told him they should resolve their complaints. He became very defensive saying they only had 15 complaints, we had not found that many. He kept telling me I really needed to buy his leads. When I told him no he began to scream at me.

The conduct was pushy, abusive and extremely unprofessional. We would never buy leads from them. How are they treating the customers they were going to send to us? That is not how we do business. We rely on referrals. We would not want someone to represent us in that manner.

As it turns out, I left the company 2 months after defending them on this website. Luckily, I left unscathed but I know another employee that stayed with them who received paychecks that bounced. Currently, the two brothers who owned company have disconnected all of their phone numbers and cannot be found.

#1 UPDATE Employee

Next Level Media Group is an upstanding company

AUTHOR: Keith - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 30, 2006

I am currently employed as a marketing consultant at Next Level Media Group at their their Manhattan location. I was recruited in Mid-November at a job fair where Richard Stopa from Next Level Media was conducting interviews alongside such prominent organizations as Verizon, Fidelity Investments, and the NYPD just to name a few. After speaking with Richard, I then went to a follow-up interview with Peter Kohais at their 25th floor main office located in New York City's Financial District.

Since that time I've been very satisfied with my employment there. In addition, I have have had positive relationships with all of my clients despite the fact that several of them have also read reports such as the one that I'm replying to now. I happen to know that at Next Level Media, they do not tolerate abusive behavior toward their clients. In addition, there is currently no one there named Michael in the office.

The reason why the sales approach may seam pushy or aggressive to someone fron Utah is because the firm was founded by several former successful stockbrokers from Ladenburg Thalman Inc. and they apply that same aggressive Wall Street approach to their "business to business" sales. Due to the nature of the business, Next Level has to hire an average of ten people in order to find possibly three solid marketing consultants. As a result, it is impossible to monitor every phone call that is made by every new employee in training.

The fact that this person is voicing a concern such as "How are they treating the customers that the they were going to send to us?" shows that he knows nothing of how the sales lead proccess works. These are thousands of names taken from the compiled data of various public records sources and banks that the firm has existing relationships with. We don't contact these people at all. That is the job of the person buying the leads! Next Level Media is simply providing a service that mortgage brokers and their loan officers would otherwise would have to perform for themselves in a bearish market.

I am also a co-worker of Ralph Destin who has recently been transfered from Hicksville, NY to the New York office. Ralph is also a former Wall Street stockbroker and has opened many accounts for the firm BECAUSE of his aggressive approach. The fact is that the people we sell to are not not customers sitting at home, they are in fact, other salespeople who know and often enjoy how the verbal sparring of the sales game works. So toughen up Chris, and try not to take things so personal.
