Okay, I have dealt with Sprint/Nextel now for about 4 years now. First it was Sprint, The service was horrific the people didn't care about the problem I had with their product (dropping calls, phone would shut off and not turn back on until i reset the battery). They didnt give me any options when I called them except for you can either Buy a new phone. They didn't give me any kind of renew your contract and get a new phone or anything, so I refused to pay any amount of money more to these people at sprint so I continued to deal with them another 4 or so monthes until the contract expired

Thank you I'm finally done with those people there.

Then I was referred to the Cadillac of phones, the Nextel I730. Great phone. Then Sprint and Nextel merged. Now suddenly I'm dropping calls and my phone shutting off and I have to restart the battery. This wasn't immediate but probably about a month or two after the merge.

My girlfriend and I share a contract and have two of the I730's her phone shuts off and the battery must be reset and my phone continues to drop calls, those people at Nextel got some balls. I call the Nextel care service and I believe the first time i spoke to Tenisha, nice girl, not to helpful though, I said look my phone is dropping calls and my girls is having problems too, what can I do. She replied "you can buy two new phones"

I was so overprepared to hear that I was too shocked to say anything. I hung up the phone, then I called back after I cooled down a little bit, and spoke to some other person, sent me to the insurance representative. So I talked to them a little bit, and she asked me has the phone me dropped, ran over, put in water, etc. I replyed no. The phone just decides to drop calls every other call. The response: I'm sorry sir, that is not covered by the insurance policy.

I about lost it on this on. I won't get into all that. All I remember saying to her that doesn't have to be censored is, I pay 173.36 a month and you can't help me out at all with this??? No was the reply,

Now, I really dont know what to do. These nextel phones are expensive as hell. My insurance doesn't cover them and they pretty much refuse to help me in anyway. I'm stuck in this contract for another year, and I really do not want this service, the termination fee is way too high for me to afford and sign with a new service.

I have a question for anyone legal reading this, if there is any way I can drop this service due to complete dissatisfaction without having to pay them anything please tell me.

The Cadillac of phones is more like a Yugo.. Go F*** yourself anyone employed at Nextel/sprint and if your offended by that please email me your work number and maybe you can help me
