NMTC Inc. dba Matco Tools, Inc. Matco used FRAUD, LIES, FALSE DOCUMENTS and SPYWARE to steal my customers and falsely terminate my Franchise. Stow, Ohio

Matco started my Franchise with an unviable head count below the contractual minimum of 325 to start with. Then when I turned it into a successful Franchise becoming 41 out of 1500+ Distributors by adding more shops and expanding my hours which was approved by Matco through my DM.

A new Regional Manager would destroy our #1 District firing my DM and then threaten my franchise if I didn't surrender shops that he claimed were unsecured on my route list. I would sign a route adjustment only to have my Regional Manager send his LOCAL DM to tell me I had given him "JUNK SHOPS" and that he needed more of my customers because  this Distributor "deserved the same opportunity as I had to succeed as a Matco Tools Distributor".

Being reduced to 350 customers to call on and numerous shops coming from a Distributor with a "Territory" who stopped calling on the shops I was given my customer head count would drop drastically from July 2006 to end of 2009. In 2009 I asked for support of a resurvey of my route and both times he said he would. It was never done. I received a Separation letter on July 12, 2010 which stated I was not at 80% of the National Purchase Average and I had 90 days to cure. Also, if I repeated the same offense within a year I could lose my Franchise.

After calling corporate and gathering documents to prove to corporate I was well below the minimum head count and telling them I was promised a survey which was never performed my DM produced a False survey of my route telling Corporate I had 328 customers and I was only servicing 67% of my customers on July 26, 2010.

On July 29, 2010 after calling Corporate and reporting the false survey Matco would give me 405 customers to call on. I would once again aquire the purchase average Matco wanted me to be at by years end.

In the new year I would have 14 days of inclement weather in which most businesses would be closed only to have Matco terminate my Franchise without warning.

RUN! From this company their Franchise is a joke and a scam. All you have to do is read the UFOC and do some searches on the internet to find out they are being sued for FRAUD!
