North American Home Loans -Previously Premier Mortgage Funding ripoff mortgage lending scam, "bait and switch" tactics for mortgage refinancing terms, dishonest and unprofessional employees, Woodbridge Virginia

The quote my fiancee and I were first given was based on a 6.0% rate. We signed the paperwork and all requested documents were submitted. From the middle of October through the end of December, we did not closed on our refinance!!!!!!

The first issue was that we didn't specify which debts we were going to pay with the money from the refinance. Neither one of us were notified that is was necessary. Once the debts were specified, there was another issue, we were missing some documents. Each time I called for several weeks, I was given one excuse after another and not one person returned my phone call.

I finally spoke with the Office Manager, Robert Thompson, at the end of November who told me he would get someone on the issue. When I received the package, the rate was at 6.5%. I went to the office to find out what happened and had it changed to 6.25%.

I was told by the loan officer the package would be sent overnight and they should be able to close by the middle of the next week. The real date I was scheduled to close wasn't until Dec. 29. The second time I spoke to Robert Thompson to ensure that this time I was really going to close on the the 29th, he was quite rude to me, as if I was an inconvenience to him.

When the closer came to my house the conditions changed again. My rate changed again and my closing costs jumped by $2,000. Fortunately, I did not sign the paperwork and become a victim of their scam.

Please be aware of North American Home Loans A.K.A. Premier Mortgage Funding, Inc!!! They will keep you waiting until you are nearly desperate to get your loan or refinance closed so that they can switch rates and terms and you will agree to pay MORE MONEY!! This company uses fraudulent tactics and is a scam!!
