She ashed for $20 initially for 40 articles and when she believed the book was going to be a hit she demanded $400 an hour amounting to $4000 and she refused to give me my manuscript unless I submitted to her extortin. I needed some of my published articles to be cropped for inclusion to a book I've written. Brooke agreed to charge $10. per article for about 40 articles. First, she dragged a 4 to 6 hour job into a month. I would go there many days and sometimes I couldn't get 15 minutes of work from her on my extremely timely book. Each time I went to her gallery to check on progress she would complain about not being paid enough moner. In an effort to get my work done I doubled the price, Still, it wasn.t enough. I needed Christmas cards I designed to have printed, She gave me a lowball figure of nine cents, At the last minute to place the order she ratsed the price to fifty five cent, and it goes on and on .She is bad and is only interested in ripping off people. She could not cheat me with goods so she just kept my manuscript and everytime I would show up trying to grt my manuscript she would call the police and tell them I threatened her which is a lie . She called a mutual acquaintance vsaying she would not give me my work unless I paid her at thw rate of $400 an hour totaling $4,000.00/ She did only mechanical work at my direct instruction. Work that could be done at Staples or MINUTE MAN print for no more than $400 her original price for the work . She is a thief I never got my property back from her,> I've been seriously damaged and the police say myonly recourse is Civil so I will spenf the money on an Attorney and charge her with extortion. I have both documentery and witness evidence. I am going to try to restrain her operation in the meantime and close her doors. She is so bad she runs phoney charity events to sell wine 3 to 5 times a month without any notice as to how much abd exactly who the money is going to. She goes through workers she calls interns so she doesn't have to pay anyone. She's bad and she should be put out of business because she's a disgrace to a business district that has many good businesses.
