North Shore Agency, Inc. A National Collection Agency Trying to scare me into paying for magazine already paid for and no longer receive. Old Bethpage, New York

They have been sending me threatening collection bills stating they are turning me in to the credit bureaus over a $30 magazine order.  We have already paid Motor Trend for this and have the cancelled check.  We no longer even receive this magazine.  I spoke with Motor Trend and they stated they NEVER turn bills over to a collection agency, this is false and NOT TO PAY THE BILL.  It is a scam.  Beware if you receive a bill from North Shore, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION OR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
